MAINTAINING AND UPGRADING OUR WONDERFUL PARKS IN
Corning, New York
OUR PURPOSE
The Crystal City Parks Foundation (CCPF) was established in 2008 as a 501(C)(3) tax exempt organization. The mission of CCPF is to assist the City of Corning primarily in maintaining and upgrading the city’s parks. The defined role of CCPF is to hold money while collaborating with other organizations who raise funds to upgrade the city’s parks. CCPF is not a fundraising organization per se, but rather collaborates with other organizations in their fundraising activities by holding and distributing funds they raise.
On rare occasions, especially as it relates to Veterans Memorial Park (VMP) and the Tri-County First Responders Honor Park (FRHP), CCPF will coordinate the fundraising activities. To assist in fundraising, CCPF will collect donations using our tax-exempt charitable status and distribute those funds for the improvements to the parks.
